Is a gel wrap good for natural nails?

If not, what kind of nail salon treatment works on natural nails without damaging them? I have healthy nails, but I never wear nail polish since the natural oils in my nail beds don鈥檛 allow the nail polish to adhere too well. I've heard that silk wraps aren't good either. Can anyone help?Is a gel wrap good for natural nails?
Anything you put on your nails that have chemicals in them cause some sort of damage.......





Silk nails if properly applied cause minimal damage......but they should be maintained for best results......as they are an enhancement service......





You could buy a nail hardener ....go to a Salon or beauty supply and buy a line called '; Nail Tek'; this is the best .......


Also the reason polish may not adhere well is because of the oils...you need to dehydrate the nail plate to remove this before applying the polish .....try putting rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball rub on nail...then apply your base coat polish , regular coloured polish and a good top coat for best resultsIs a gel wrap good for natural nails?
they have to sand down the nail itself for the gel to attach so yes, will damage them
I've also been a nail tech and salon owner for years. I have to agree that any product you have adhered to your nail has the potential for damaging them. A lot of products claim to not harm the natural nail, and the chemical composition may not, but breaking, picking, chipping, or the peeling off of anything adhered to your nails will cause damage. If you consider getting any kind of enhancement, maintenance is the key to reducing any kind of damage. If you like the look of natural nails, check out nail hardeners that you can pick up at Sally's Beauty Supply. You usually add a layer every day for 7 days, then remove and start over the next week.
Sorry, but I have been doing nails, hair, and skin care for 7 years and I can tell you nothing you adhere to your natural nail is good for them. Its all bad. Try Nailtech, or Nailtex. (1 is just a knock off of the other). Just a clear nail polish. Makes your natural nails grow like weeds, plus they get really strong and healthy. Just make sure you follow the directions correctly. and make sure you get the maintance formula when your nail are ready for it.
